Nintendo N64

The Nintendo 64 (N64) is a fifth-generation 64-bit home video game console released on September 29, 1996, in North America. It was the last major home console to use cartridges as its primary storage format until the Nintendo Switch in 2017. Well known for its first party games and its games with large 3D worlds. Some games require the Expansion Pak accessory to increase system RAM from 4MB to 8MB, for improved graphics and functionality. The console mainly supports saved game storage either onboard cartridges or on the Controller Pak accessory. Other accessories included a Rumble Pak to simulate physical reactions in games and a Transfer Pak to transfer data from Game Boy to N64 and vice versa.
