Sega Game Gear

The SEGA Game Gear is a fourth generation 8-bit handheld game console released for the North American region on April 5th, 1991. It shares much of its hardware with the SEGA Master System and can even play Master System games with the use of an adapter. Sega addressed some of the complaints of their competitor, the Nintendo Game Boy with a full-color backlit screen with a landscape format.
