Diddy Kong Racing DS is a racing-adventure remake of the classic Diddy Kong Racing originally on Nintendo 64, bringing the action to the Nintendo DS with fresh features and new twists. Players take control of Diddy Kong and friends as they race across diverse tracks using karts, hovercraft, and airplanes while exploring the whimsical world of Timber’s Island and confronting the evil Wizpig. The DS version adds new tracks, updated graphics, characters like Dixie Kong and Tiny Kong, a built-in track creator using the touch screen, vehicle upgrades, and robust multiplayer modes — including single-card download play and local or online wireless racing.
