Tetris 2 moves from NES to Game Boy in this conversion of the hit puzzle game sequel. Unique to the handheld version is a puzzle mode, which challenges you to remove blinking blocks from the playing field within a set number of moves. Another slight difference is that the two-player option requires a Game Link Cable, so you will be unable to see your opponent's screen. In addition, the red, blue, and yellow pieces from the NES game are depicted as white, black, and gray pieces due to the handheld's monochromatic display. Otherwise, the controls and content between the two versions are identical.
